POWDERLY - Barbara Lucille Eaves, 97, of Powderly, died Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at 3:25AM at her home. Mrs. Eaves was born August 25, 1920, in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and a dedicated member of Powderly United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Eaves; parents Pink and Mabel Coombs; sisters Anna Margaret Bruno, Cecil Rae Helphinstine, and Elsie Mae Coombs; and brother Clifton Coombs.

She is survived by her sons, Jerry Lee (Donna) Eaves and John Thomas (Cher) Eaves, Jr.; grandchildren Scott Eaves, Leslie Tinsley, Aaron and Amy Cobb, and Jessica and John Shelton; great-grandchildren Hannah, Mitchel, Lilly, Logan, Mara, Kassidy, Delaney, Daniel and Denise, Dillian, Olivia, Ava Jo, and Millie; and great-great-grandson Dalton.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 11, 2018, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Gaithel Jenkins officiating. Burial in Memorial Gardens in Powderly.
